I am so thankful this weekend for my family. I am blessed beyond measure. I have some wonderful daughters. But the one I want to write about today is my daughter in law Ivy.
I really see myself as having 11 children, as my daughter's in law are just like my own kids. I love them all so very much.
Marucs, our 4th son, and Ivy, and our grandson Will came by the other day to see us.
We just don't get together enough, and I love it when we see each other.
What I love about Ivy is her honesty and her love for the Lord. She is not a "blind follower" but really uses her head and her heart in her relationship with Christ.
I see this come out in her dedication to be a wonderful mother to our grand son Will and our future grandson, yet to be known. I think she told me his name, but I can't remember! dang.
I also see this come out in her dedication and love for her very dear husband Marcus, our youngest son.
When I see this precious family together, it brings such deep spiritual joy to my heart.
I truly love Ivy as a daughter.
Marcus really was a smart guy to dedicate himself to such a wonderful woman.
Marc you are one fortunate man!
What you have found is more precious than Rubies.
As a matter of fact, Far Above Rubies. :)
Love,
Mom

Ivy and Erika are SIL's who resemble each other, IMO. Guess they are both made of sugar and spice and everything nice.
