Mother's Day was a big surprise! I was asked what I wanted for Mother's Day, and just like my Daughter in Law Ivy, I asked for a nice nap!
Well, not only did I get my nap, I also got:
and a trip to "On the Border" for a late lunch. Because we went later, there was no waiting! :)
(way to go daddy!) :)
The guys called yesterday and we each had a really nice talk......
And then, early this a.m. before I had to go to take Sarah to Scottish Rite Hospital, Anna and I snuck in a nice snuggle with her favorite friend Bob the Cat.
It was a wonderful Mother's Day!
Sarah's Doctor appt. went better than expected! She is still having trouble with pain, but they are going to try and relieve the pain by making extra room in her prosthesis.... and hopefully buy some time for a while.... She has some bone growth, but Dr. Herring feels that we may be successful without surgery!
YEA! That is a huge relief for me AND for Sarah. :) Can't wait to see her dancing again.

Prayer Quote
“I pray because I can't help myself. I pray because I'm helpless. I pray because the need flows out of me all the time- waking and sleeping. It doesn't change God- it changes me.”

Faith
I believe in the sun even when it's not shining. I believe in love even when I don't feel it. And I believe in God even when He is silent. (quote found on the wall of a concentration camp)
